What a dawat usually looks like
A full dawat meal is a rice, a main or two, a side and a drink. Kacchi with chicken roast, jali kabab, borhani and jorda is the classic shape, and beef tehari or plain polao with roast both work for smaller gatherings. Every item on the menu is priced per person, so you can build the meal to your guest list and see the total before you confirm. The minimum order is BDT 5,000 in value, with no guest minimum, on 24 hours notice.
Serving staff & setup at home
Food arrives cooked and ready to serve. Small orders come in sealed foil trays, large ones in dekchi. If you want the service handled too, serving staff come at BDT 1,200 per server, and chafing dishes at BDT 500 each keep the buffet hot through the evening. Tell us the floor, the lift situation and where the buffet will stand, and the crew arrives prepared. Crockery and cutlery are provided with the food.
Gaye holud & engagement
Gaye holud and engagement events are catered under the home events line. The format is the same as a dawat: menu priced per person, staff and setup added if you want them, delivery to the venue. A 50% advance confirms the booking, by bKash or bank transfer, with the balance due on or before the day. For events over 100 guests we prepare a custom quotation.
Questions
Can I order kacchi for just 10 people?
Yes. There is no guest count we turn away. Chinigura mutton kacchi is BDT 700 per person, so 10 people comes to BDT 7,000 and clears the BDT 5,000 minimum on its own. Below BDT 5,000 we will still talk to you and tell you what gets you there.
How do I pay the advance?
By bKash or bank transfer. The details come back in the same WhatsApp thread once the order is agreed. Private events pay 50% to confirm, with the balance due on or before the event day.
Do you cater weddings and mehndi?
Yes, both are catered. They are not the main line of the business, so a wedding is always a custom quotation rather than a package off the menu. Send the date, the venue and the guest count and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit for it.
Do you cater outside Dhaka?
Yes, from 200 guests. Below that the transport and logistics make it unworkable for both sides. Inside Dhaka a menu order has no guest minimum, only the BDT 5,000 order value.
